I have enjoyed taking pictures since I was a child, having received my first camera from my father, who taught me the basics of composition and lighting. I enjoy taking all types of pictures, but especially nature and travel. In recent years we have had the wonderful opportunity to travel many places in the world. I appreciate the fact that my husband also dabbles in photography, so we enjoy getting out together with our cameras and having a little friendly competition. In 2004 I joined the Mount Pleasant Photography Club, providing a wonderful opportunity for companionship and for learning more about photography.
