Treasure’s report – Kim We will be looking into getting T-shirts – Hopefully getting orders at our February meeting so we can have them for March. Will probably allow two color choices in T-shirt or Polo. Every member who did not get a shirt when they first joined will get a T-shirt (or can upgrade to a a Polo for $10). Other members can purchase shirts if they would like.
Secretary’s report (old business 2022) – Misty could not be here, so Sue will take minutes. Hopefully everyone received the December minutes and the Business Planning details that were sent out in December

PART 2: Business Planning Meeting for 2023 (Please note important dates)
Leadership Committee (Sue, Eric, Misty, Nancy, Kamal, Jo, Kim & Rod) met Dec 8th 2022.
January 5th – Running Meeting: Kamal Program: Business Meeting followed by Photographing Snowy Landscape presentation.
January Field Trip: Sue contacted Camp OtyOkwa and set a winter hike for Saturday January 14th meet at 10AM. Weather is actually looking pretty nice, so probably not snow and ice, but some nice rock features. Please RSVP to Sue if you plan to come. Address is 24799 Purcell Road, South Bloomingville, Ohio 43152 Directions: Drive approximately 0.25 mile to trailhead parking on left (across from the log cabin) after turning onto Purcell Road from State Route 374. If anyone would rather meet at the Logan Walmart and follow me down, or needs a ride, please let me know. I currently have RSVP’s from Grace, Jim and Eric.

March 16th-19 Spring Show – Judging Categories Are: Green, Abstracts, Vacation, Landscapes, Wildlife, Special Effects Possible potluck if no Covid issues.

Field Trip: John Glenn Astronomy park – we will set a date and alternative date and hope for clear nights. They run programs Friday and Saturday Nights that require reservations. We may be able to do a different night and get someone to come do a program for us. Sue has contacted JGAP leadership and not heard back yet.

Educational Workshop by Outside Resource: Saturday Sep 16th(date could change) Possible Workshop Subjects: Landscape Photography Shooting for Black and White Videography Portrait Posing, Ohio Nature Education Birds of Prey. We may be better off to travel to Midwest ore O.N.E. for a program as it should be cheaper and would allow use of their resources. We could car pool for those that have issues getting up to Columbus. Any other ideas? We will need to decide pretty soon, so we can do sign-ups. And collect payment. Cost: 50% paid by the club, 50% paid by attendee was discussed.

We then held voting for our 2023 1st quarter categories: zigzag, blur the action, ice, antique, broken, layers, Open anytime. 4X6 prints for judging will be due at our April meeting(one entry per category)
Eric did a shout out for 52Frames.com challenge. This weeks category is Self Portrait and is due this Sunday by midnight. It’s a free project and a good way to get inspired.
Jim has access to a studio in Reynoldsburg (for a short while longer) for anyone interestied in renting the space for photoshoots. Also knows a person who might come talk to us about Night Photography-he will check.
