Library show. The show will run through July 15th. Take down will be Saturday July 16th from 10-5. If you can’t make it then items can be picked up on Monday (we will place them in the Boardroom along the wall) If you can’t be there Monday please arrange for someone else to pick up your work.
Art Walk. We will be hosting the show at the Presbyterian church. Set up will be Tuesday July 19thfrom 6-8. We have decided we will not have judging categories, but will do a People’s choice. Art Walk generally is looking for newer work, but work that hasn’t been displayed during a previous Art Walk (even if it is older) is fine. The Art Walk is a good time to pull out your best work, and prints and a few framed pieces will usually sell. The Art Walk is Friday July 22nd 6-9, and then we will have open hours for church members (11 am) on Sunday, Monday(1-4), Wednesday(1-4), and Friday(10-2) after the Art Walk as required by Destination Downtown. We have new club business cards. If you have plastic sleeves from the Health Center please remember to bring them back for Nancy.
There will be wall space, and display walls 5ftx17 (4), and we may also borrow some display walls from Parks and Rec. The church also has 6-8 easels. Let us know if you are not on the sign-up list and would like to display (see end of minutes to see who is on our list ASAP.) Take down of the show is August 2nd at 6 pm.
Renewal of Website Domain $18.99 Expires end of August. John L. motioned to pay the web fees for both the .org and the .com if it becomes available. Jo seconded. Motion passed.
Fall Olivedale Show – September 10th and 11th. Set up will be September 8th. Judging categories will be: People, Nature, Architecture, Historical, Black and White, Wings, Judges are lined up and Sue will have flyers to pass out at the Art Walk. Misty and Shellie are run the show again this fall. Thank you
